Position: Technical Sales Manager
Location: Remote
Territory: South (West) UK
Reporting to: Sales Director
GPE Scientific is a leading manufacturer and distributor of specialised laboratory equipment for the chemistry and life science research market.
We currently have a vacancy for a Technical Sales manager to expand an already established area. Knowledge of Chemistry or Biology laboratory processes, process chemistry systems, and a degree in Chemistry or Bio- Sciences would be an advantage but more important is to be self-motivated and enthusiastic. GPE is a dynamically expanding company and the right candidate will have an enjoyable and fulfilling career.
Working with the Sales Director activities will include:
- Identification and development of sales opportunities within the territories
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
- Demonstrations, presentations and seminars within the territories
- Provision of support to other team members or territories as and when required
- Proactive development of strategy
The position will also require:
- Maintaining an up to date customer database using our CRM system
- The position will require frequent travel
Experience and qualifications:
- Degree level qualification
- Sales experience desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills
