J Young® valves were developed in 1968 and in March 2010 GPE Scientific took over ownership of the famous brand. We manufacture these products at our factory in Bedfordshire using our team of glassblowers to skilfully produce each item. The J Young® high vacuum greaseless stopcocks incorporate three Viton-O-ring seals (one encapsulated in PTFE) on a standard PTFE piston. Our stopcocks are leak tested to better than 10-6 ltr/sec and are suitable for use in applications up to 7 PSI.
