Multi-stoppers are manufactured from either Green neoprene or Red silicone rubber: both offering specific advantages. The rings are cut from the same stopper and each ring fits perfectly inside the next. This allows for a vacuum tight fit for all openings within the stopper size range. The multi-stoppers are designed for glassblowing operations and are widely used in chemistry labs.
- The Green Neoprene rubber is resistant to oils, solvents, ozones and hydrocarbons and comes with an outstanding life span. The serviceable temperature range is from -40 Degrees C to +100 Degrees C.
- The Red Silicone rubber material is suitable for higher temperature applications with a serviceable temperature range of -50 Degrees C to +200 Degrees C. These stoppers are resistant to hot oils, fuels, oxidizing chemicals, sodium hydroxide and ozone.
