Gas inlet valves are small hand operated valves for admitting gases into a vacuum system. By rotating a knurled screw cap the valve stem is raised from the valve seat.
Thus gas enters at a controlled flow rate from the line connected to the gas inlet. The gas inlet valve VGS 10 is mounted with a small flange to the vacuum system and has a hose nozzle DN 8 mm for connection to, e.g., gas cylinders, air driers or for admitting air directly. The vacuum and atmospheric sides of the valve VGL are provided with hard-soldering brass connections, facilitating the valve to be used as a fixed, permanent fitting.
